Hi yellowgreen,

Can you post a photo or two of your Dobrica?
Most likely he is moulting, this is when budgies shed some body feathers which are replaced for new ones.
You can check these links below for more information:

Your Dobrica is fine, I see some pin feathers on the forehead and he is clearly moulting. There is no reason for concern as this is a natural process all birds go through. Evica seems to be currently moulting too, I see some pin feathers on the cheek patch and side of the face.

During this time, you can supplement your budgies' diet with egg food and you can also sprinkle some flax seeds and Niger seeds onto the egg food.
To help with the general discomfort and itch from the growing feathers, you can place a shallow dish of water in case they want to bathe.

Since this is not an emergency and there is no sense of urgency, I have now moved your thread to the Follow-up Center section.

aluz has provided you with all the information you need about molting. Birds molting their feathers is a normal part of their life.

Again, I strongly suggest you take the time to read through the Budgie Articles and Stickies throughout the forum as they will answer most of the beginner questions you frequently post.
