Hopefully you've read the Budgie Articles and the Stickies at the top of each forum section as recommended so you know how to react in an emergency situation?

Did you get the bleeding stopped using styptic powder, corn starch or flour?

Do you have a Budgie First Aid Kit ready for quick First Aid Response?

How badly is little Stokes injured?

Make sure he is kept warm and quiet and give him
Guardian Angel or Pedialyte.

https://talkbudgies.com/articles-budg...te-recipe.html

If the injury is severe, you need to ensure you have Stokes seen by an Avian Vet.

Please be sure to update us on Stokes' condition.

I'm sorry to hear that Peanut injured Skooks in such a bad way

I hope you have stopped the bleeding by now as blood loss is a lethal problem in such a little bird.

FaeryBee has provided some excellent resources to use while you assess the problem and see if he requires avian vet care.

Please keep us posted on his condition, I hope he is able to make a full and speedy recovery

I'm sorry to hear that Stokes was injured. Now two days later, what is happening? Hopefully the injury was not very serious and he is healing well. Please let us know.
