Default Sick budgie

My poor Caboose is sick. . He's been throwing up. He's skinny and he's sleeping all the time. I took him to the vets yesterday. And she doesn't know what's wrong. She checked his poop and didn't find anything. She prescribed him 3 medications in hoping one of them gets him better. Metronidazole suspension, Panacur wormer suspension, and Baytril. I hope he pulls through. I have him separated from the other birds. And have a heavy blanket over his cage. I don't know what else I can do to help him. Can I put ACV in his water?

I wouldn't put ACV in his water right now since it's a probiotic and he's on Baytril, which is an antibiotic. At the moment it seems like you're doing everything possible for him. Try to keep him eating by offering millet and you can also offer Guardian Angel or Pedialyte for electrolytes.

I tried looking for guardian angel on amazon. And couldn't find anything.

Also do you know if the medicines I'm giving him would change his poops? They used to look normal until I began giving him the medicine yesterday.

It looks like he threw up last night when I was asleep. When I opened the cage to clean up a little bit he flew out calling for his partner. He's back in right now. He ate a tiny bit. I haven't seen him drink at all.

The medicine might change his poop, I'm not sure. I found Guardian Angel on a different site, but if you can't find that you can use non-flavored Pedialyte.

Here is a helpful link regarding Guardian Angel. You can also make your own electrolyte solution. Good luck!

Does anyone know of an easy way to give my little guy his medicine? He is constantly moving his head like crazy trying to get out of me holding him. I don't know if the medicine is actually getting in his mouth. Or if just getting on him.
