Yes!
My oldest not tame budgie continues to try and take my food, I'd happily share it with him, but most of the food I eat could kill him.
I.E. has garlic, onions, salt, oil or stuff like that in it(dinner time, where he usually likes to come out and fly).
Though if I'm eating something that he could share with me, he's never bloody interested in it!

He will sit on my hand, finger, land on me, everything to get to my food, which is probably the only contact I ever get with him, so I tend to abuse it sometimes.

My SO get's a little iffy about me doing it, because it teaches him that he can eat off our plates, which is of course bad, but oh god, I can't resist it when my oldest gives me attention.
He's my world.

It's easy to see when he is interested in something I have, be it a yoghurt, bread, cucumber, something colourful, carrot, anything that is bright and funny to look at and that mummy is yumming.

I have a smaller cage on my desk that he usually lands on, next to my laptop, and if he's standing on that or my laptop he starts to bob is head up and down quickly and faces one eye to me, and puffs up a bit, and I know it's coming. I usually talk to him, ask him if he's eye balling my food, and then eventually, he jumps to me and insists on a taste, if I let him.

Only 1 of my budgies try. She's very persistent about it too. It's terribly cute and always makes my kids laugh.

My 11 year old Jake E. Birdie used to think that anytime I had a dish of food in front of me it belonged to him. If I wanted to take a plate of food into another room, I'd have to hide it behind my back as I walked by him because he would fly over and just plop down right in the middle of it. One time he landed on a plate of spaghetti and had a red bottom from the sauce for days!

YES Budget is exactly the same if I have anything he thinks it's for him even if I am preparing food he comes straight over and checks out what is on offer! I have learnt to make sure he is in his cage before I start to eat now otherwise it's tea for two.

Yep! My boy does that too. Depending on if its safe for him (say salad or veggies) I'll give him some but other things it's fend off the cheeky birdie time

One of my fav pics of Raz is of him trying to steal my Uncle's food

On occasion, but it just means that they're hungry and want new food.
