After reading some of your advice for me and browsing other threads, I let me two little friends out of their cage. First time went okay, second time went great ..they both flew right back into their cage when they were finished!
I didn't know budgies would be clever enough to figure that out!
They're out at the moment and they're singing, which is adorable. I'm a tad worried about getting them back in again, but aside from that things are going swell! Thank you so much
EDIT: wow I needn't have worried, when they were done, they flew right back into their cage! Amazing, wow!

Brilliant really pleased for you Our two had their wings clipped by the breeder so they dont fly, yet lol. But they have loads of time outside the cage. Goldie was an expert climber from day one, very independant. Sunny needed a lift up every now and again. We threaded some thick rope with wire and made a couple of spirals, they use these to get up from the floor onto the balsa wood bridge and into the cage. I cant wait till they fly hehehe
How fun! My 2 year old Buttons is a great flyer and also a really good bird who if outside of the cage will usually go right in if I ask him. Baby budgie Snuggles tries to follow but lands on the ground as her wings were clipped. I can see how much she wants to fly as I see her whirring her wings trying, She's just starting to lose the odd feather from her baby bars but most are still there so I guess it will be awhile yet before she molts her clipped feathers and grows out flight ones.
Wow how wonderful, sounds like you have the perfect budgies ! Don't be surprised though if they suddenly decide NO I am not going back the the cage at some time , in fact my guy sort went through the teenage years faze as I call it LOL. But he is good once more !!!
