I've posted photos a few months ago of Bingley and has had her first moult. Her cere is what troubles me. It's a rich blue, no sign of any light colour around the nostrils.

Will do. I will try tomorrow in natural lighting. The issue is that because the nostrils are at the top part of the cere, any photo shows a lightness around it. I may have to wait to see if her cere ever turns brown when she becomes in season. Time will ultimately tell.
I might add that Bingley and Darcy are bonkers! They are perfect
Here are a couple of pics. The white that shows up on the photos isn't really reflective of her cere. She has a rich blue colour and a nice rounded cere. Can a blue spangle hen have such a nice blue cere?
