Default Budgies seeking spot closer to blizzard

Hello-

One of the main things we learn as budgie owners is never have budgies by a cold draft, window, AC etc. So it makes me worry that my two budgies try to get as close to the outside as possible. I am in Boston, it is a blizzard and the window has drafts where they sit and it is definitely colder over there. but they fly there regardless (see pic).

Should I be worried?

Thanks,

Caleigh

I'd cover the windows during the blizzard if it were me.

Budgies are creatures of habit, their perch that is there is obviously been there for them always so that is where they will want to go. I agree with Deb place a towel or a door stop sausage thing even along the top where the draft can come in. this way they can still be where they love to sit and be warm at the same time.

You and I are about 45 mins away from eachother!
What I've done with my Babies is put them as far away from the windows as possible.
It helps that their playground is on top of their cage and moves with them to wherever I put them.
I would definitely cover that windows for the next couple days though to help keep the drafts away. Be safe and Stay warm!
