Thumbs up Giggles and Geoffrey had free flight time

Giggles and Geoffrey were let out of their cage this afternoon, it took them a while to come out but they eventually did.
Bless them they kept on hitting the walls as expected, flew everywhere and before they knew it they were knackered out.
They seem very happy and content now they are back in their cages, took ages to get Geoffrey back in but Giggles was happy to be picked up and placed back in his home.
They are both chirping away now so I hope this was another success :-)

It was so fun to watch. Was worrying whether it hurts them when they fly into a wall but they carried on so couldn't hurt that much, right? lol. Was funny to watch.

Although it is fun it can also be dangerous for budgies to hit walls and fall. make sure you have mirrors, windows, covered. you can peg sheets or blankets up temporarily to help give them somewhere to hang onto.

Thanks for the tip pretty boy. I let them out earlier today and Geoffrey just sat on the bookcase, think he was bit lost so my partner gave him the perch, and first time ever Geoffrey stayed on the perch and was happy for him to be transported safely back to his cage. My Dad took some beautiful pictures with his camera, anyone want me to share them??

What a silly question to ask here LOL Of course we want pictures the more the better using the perch is a great idea, I did this in the beginning as well. They sound delightful
