We took Pudge Pudge for a general check at the vet, he literally took the cover off her box, took one look at her and said "young hen"
(anyone who saw my previous posts would've seen I was unsure haha).
He took her out and checked her over, said she was indeed healthy with no problems, and commented on her colours saying she's a very lovely looking fledging with a strong beak (she has as very painful nip, as the vet learned himself).
He gave us advice on how to introduce her and Stitch, and not to get rid of her cage if they go together because of age difference or something, that Stitch is pretty much mature now and he might try it on with her?
We got back and I let her try her first little piece of millet spray. Stitch has never sat on my hand to eat it, yet Pudge clambered straight onto my hand and cleaned my palm of the stuff. Then bit me when she realised there was none left.
She's sitting in her cage now having a snooze, grinding her beak and chirping every now and then. Here's to a life with Pudge!!! *raises Pepsi*
