Russell and Oliver may squabble occasionally, but it's very short lived and neither causes the other to fly to the ground. It's like they are too polite to really have a good argument. And getting physical would be the worst. Lol. The Parrotlets, on the other hand, get along beautifully, but the older, more bossy one (again two males growing up together) can be a toe biter (never left a mark or drawn blood, though) and body check the more mellow one til he gets his space or way. The Budgies, nope, I don't see them or hear them do each other like that. And they will not bite. Not when you hold them for a toenail trim or anything. They would rather run away. They pretend they're going to bite, but they just tap me. I think there's something special about all parrots, but I sure love the Budgies.
I would have to agree with you there. In all the budgies I have ever owned, including the 7 I have now, have been so well behaved. My female who is about 10 years old now used to be a biter, and a tough one but as she gets older and has been on her own, she has turned out to be so polite and extremely gentle. She is also quite the loving budgie. There are times where I have her out and she won't stop bothering me for tons of kisses. I won't lie but I have had a few situations between females but it was nothing ever serious but of course I put a stop to it before it could have gotten serious. When I have my two boys out together they are so wonderful to each other. I adore my budgies and for the part of me that wants a Lovie... well that may have to be put on hold for a bit. My 7 budgies are quite a handful but only 2 of them are not hand tame. Regardless I love and adore them all
