Hi, I am new to this forum. I am the parent to four adorable budgies, two of which are clearly males, but the other two are giving me a hard time trying to sex them. Sunny, the yellow one, is about 1 year, the white blue one, cloudy, is about 8-9 months
Any help is appreciated.
I also could use some help in identifying their color mutations as I am just starting out with trying to understand the color gene and mutations
There is a picture of all four posted as well, anyone who can help me Thank you so much
Welcome to the forums! You have quite a lovely flock there!
Your Sunny is a boy, he appears to be a dark green recessive pied budgie.
Cloud is a budgie girl, I think she is a cobalt blue recessive pied opaline.
You also have a dark green normal budgie and a sky blue normal budgie.
RIP sweet Tito (Summer 2008 - January 17th 2013).
You are missed and never will be forgotten.
I agree with Ana and Gaby that Sunny is a male and Cloudy a female.
