Default what plants are budgie safe?

i really want to keep a spider plant in my room because i love them and i thought it would look nice on my shelf (and help filter the air because they are good plants for that). i know the are safe to have around cats, and dogs too i think, but what about budgies? and if not, what other plants can i keep in the same room as them? (what about aloe?)

thanks

Spider plants are perfectly budgie safe but budgies aren't necessarily spider plant safe.

If your birds are anything like mine, they will love your spider plant to pieces, literally, eat most of it, then tear out the last bits with the roots looking for more. My mother threatened to cut my spider plant supply, then to put me on a spider plant budget, and then gave up and relented and is now "breeding" spider plants for my budgie room.

So, eh... It will look pretty and nicely decorative for as long as it takes your birds to realise it's a.) edible and b.) delicious. Mine, at least, treat spider plant as if it was budgie-nip.

Great! I would rather have it be edible than safe but unedible looks like I will be getting one. I think I might get an aloe too
