Default Is it Alice or Oakley

So I bought my very first bird of my own (family had a flock for years), and originally was told by a friend that it was a girl, who I named Alice. Then as time went on the cere turned a little bit more blue, which a different friend said that meant it was definitely a male (Oakley was my male choice for a name). Upon more research, I found some article claiming if there was white around the nostrils it was female, so now I am so turned around and confused I give up! LOL All my family's birds have been solid colored green, and it was pretty 100% clear what gender they were. Hopefully this is a decent enough picture for you all. Also if anyone has any idea what to call the color so I am more accurate that would be greatly appreciated as well!
Cheers,
Melissa

Looks like maybe Alice is an Oakley! Since he's recessive pied, the cere will be light pink/purple his whole life.
From what I can see, this handsome fellow is a sky blue, yellowface I recessive pied boy
Congrats, he is gorgeous!

I think it's an Alice, I can see a lot of white especially on that second pic.
If possible do post a couple more pics of your cute budgie. And welcome to the forums!

He/she is a yellow face, I think type I, sky blue recessive pied opaline budgie.

Thanks guys! Color wise that sure sounds fancier to say than blue and yellow with white and stuff LOL. As requested here is a couple more pictures.

Yay, I was right (unsure about opaline)
I'm slowly trying to learn budgie mutations!

I'm more certain now that your beautiful budgie is a girl. The cere looks very much like my Peppy's when she was young.
It can be quite deceiving due to that bluish colour, but since your budgie is very young, with time you will see the cere getting progressively whiter and then there will be no doubt!

Yes, opaline is very tricky to tell in recessive pieds. But I think in this case she is and now with the additional photos, I really think she is yellow face type II.

Agreed, with new photos looks like a yellowface II. Also looks like a little girl now, the very first picture looked like a boy.
