Default Big Scary Posters?

Hi all
SO as you know, I'm getting a budgie shortly and am keeping him in my room. I was talking to someone I know and she told me that I had to pull down these two posters asap because they would scare my budgie? They are my favourites and I don't want to take them down, but I will if they are actually bad.
(i just put thumbnails of the posters )

My experience is that budgies are immensely bad at recognising non-moving things in 2-D. Some few that I've had have reacted to the TV, one could spend hours on end trying to get in, but otherwise the only reaction I've ever gotten out of any of them was calling out if there were bird (or budgie-like, rather) *sounds* on TV. I've never had one react to a poster's content.
What has happened, though, was that birds tried to land on top of them, which the posters usually didn't survive very well. Budgies don't weigh a great deal, but having one fly in and suddenly grab the upper egde of the paper tended to be enough to tear it, so I'd mostly try to mentally prepare myself for possibly having my favorite posters torn by accident.

Thanks AlterEgon!
And also, the Smaug one is thick cardboard so Its harder to tear, but I don't mind if they get a little damaged

The posters you already have on your bedroom will not scare your budgie since he/she will see them since the very beginning while entering your room and will get used to everything in your bedroom as he/she settles in.
You could even put a couple more before getting your budgie.
Budgies and other pet birds can get scared when there are changes made in your rooms' décor (like a new big painting or portrait on the wall) and it could take a few days for them to realise the new item is not a threat.

You should also be aware that it's possible your budgie would want to chew on your posters, so you might consider framing them as protection, so your posters won't get destroyed.

Thanks aluz I have many others, lol. I don't mind of they get chewed or torn, as long as it doesn't hurt my budgie!

Now, the penguins are scary! (Cute and cuddly, boys!)

You can get cheap frames for your posters, to protect them from tears and bird poop though.

I mean, things with eyes could possibly scare them, but I don't think that the posters are scary enough to accomplish that.
