Question Lazy eye?

Hi all, it's me again with another question.

Got a new girl today. Showered, placed in clean cage with clean water, seed and millet.

While inspecting her, I noticed that her eye looks weird. I took some pics for both eyes and uploaded them to Imgur:

Why does it look like this? Is it from an injury or is it due to sickness?

Lovely budgie...could be an injury, the feathers around this area look a little 'disturbed'...only guessing, someone else will be able to qualify what is the reason.

I would guess that maybe it's irritated due to maybe a feather getting stuck in it or rubbing the wrong way or something. Since it's once eye, I don't think it's a sickness. Of course, I could very well be wrong, but I would keep an eye on her and if she lets you, maybe rinse her eye with a little saline solution to try and help get irritants out.
She's a lovely little girl, I hope her eye feels better soon!

Hi if it were me I would take her for a wellness check at the vet.
It could simply be an irritation form rubbing or a feather , but it could also be an infection that could need treatment. Whist there you can get her checked for parasites, her condition and any concerns .
