Default Three budgies -- two male/one possible female

So I got my new budgies today, I got 2 new males to add to my 1 male Joe. I named them mango and blueberry or blue for short. They are both brothers and are 2 months old, I put Joe in the big 3 bird cage and they are in the 2 bird cage until them move in with Joe. They seem pretty happy they have been chatting with Joe. Although for a few minutes blueberry was trying to escape, is this because he was trying to get to Joe? They have eaten a bit a drank. Blueberry is sleeping now on a perch but for some reason mango is hanging on the side of the cage sleeping? Is this normal?

Congrats on your new arrivals Lovely names too! From what others have said, it seems normal for budgies to sleep just hanging on the side of the cage. My own budgie does it sometimes, but I think she only does it when she get afraid of something. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to see pics

They are gorgeous! But, I have to say...Mango is a little girl! Surprise!

I bet you're excited for quarantine to be over so they can be with Joe.
Blueberry was probably just trying to answer Joe's contact calls and see what all the fuss was about, once he settles into his cage, he'll be fine.

And yes, some budgies take naps or sleep hanging on the edge of the cage, they're just silly.
Thank you for sharing, congrats on your new additions!

Congrats on your new additions, they're so fluffy and cute!

I agree that Mango is a girl
If she were male her cere would be more like Blueberry's.
The reason Mango's cere is light blue, rather than tan/brown, is because she's not in breeding condition at the moment.

They are lovely, Blueberry looks older than Mango to me as he has lost some of the bars on his head. But, I may be wrong.

Yes it may be because mango is younger so maybe that's why it's less dark blue than blueberry

So I got mango yesterday he is 2 months old and a lot of people here are saying he's a girl? What do you guys think? Maybe as he's young it's hard to tell?
