Welcome back Alex, does the aviary have solid sides I assume it would. When I had my budgies outside I made sure it was built so it didn't face oncoming winter weather patterns.
Also use a tarp or heavy water proof sort of material to cover the exposed sides. have perches up out of wind and safely away from the wire where rodents or other animals could grab or scare your birds during the night. If your budgies are used to being outside they will of adjusted to the weather conditions, as long there is safe and dry perching area's they should be fine.
