Star Pull

Hello everyone

I thought it would be fun to write a review of one of the toys my budgies have gone crazy for. I will be giving the toy a ratings of 0-5 in various categories. This is my first one so please make suggestions as to categories that would be good additions. I have started with the favorite toy so this will probably be the one with the highest ratings.

Name: Star Pull

Price: $6.25

Link: Star Pull

Description: This is a sturdy toy made with a chain. It has two bells hanging from a hole in a wood center and birds can pull the chain back and forth through the hole. The chain has a stopped on it to prevent it from being pulled all the way down to the bell. Above each of the bells there is a bead and a plastic toy.

Size: website says about 11"

Ratings

Interest: 5 out of 5. All four of my budgies had and still have a fascination with this toy, especially the colored bells and the toy above the bell (not sure what it's called). They all liked to spin the plastic toy. The boys were more interested than than the girls. The boys especially like to pull on the bells and chain.

Durability:5 out of 5. My birds have not tried to chew on the wooden center so I can see this toy lasting a very long time. However, if a bird was extremely determined, they could possibly be able to cause some damage to the wood. I just have not had this issue.

Appearance: 5 out of 5. I think that it is one of the more pleasing to look at toys around but this is just personal opinion.

Safety: 5 out of 5. I have had no issues other than arguments over who gets to play with the purple bell.

Every bird has his or her own personal preferences. The way my birds react to a toy does not mean that every budgies will react the same way.
