Default Budgies reacting, according to the weather?

Brienne & Ygritte's home is situated next to a window - they can see a lot of the sky, a view over the city and many visiting birds...on bleak, clouded days they hardly move, play with toys or interact with one another. But, give them a bright sunshiny day, like today and they are behaving like 'banshees' - wanting to attack/play with All their toys at once, copious amount of wing flapping and chatting/whistling like there is no tomorrow...would they be making up for lost time or may it be 'cause there is a westerly wind blowing out there and they are behaving, as children do, when the wind blows from the west - crazily! ...it's funny to see, but rather difficult to hear a movie lol ...at the moment they are refueling and I'm hoping they are going to have an afternoon nap

It is interesting to see how the changes in weather affect our little feathered friends, isn't it?
I know changes in the barometric pressure definitely have an effect on me.

How lovely that Brienne and Ygritte are enjoying their lovely sunny day to the fullest!!

Yes, they certainly are having a wonderful time...though, proceedings have slowed considerably at the moment, so I think maybe a nap will be happening quite soon, plus the wind has subsided ...I'm affected by the barometer, too...I sometimes get a dull headache, when the readings drop...well, I sure they will be back in full swing after their break/nap..awww, sweet darlings - all is quiet

HA HA my guys tend to have "CRAZY " Time first thing in the morning, they zoom out of their cages and carry on like they haven't seen each other for years. Then they quieten and have a clean in their respective cages, a small nap and nibble then an afternoon more refined soiree When the sun is out they do seem to act a little more active, I am the opposite when the sun is out I like to laze around and enjoy the warmth much like a lizard

Although I have only had a few weeks to observe him yet, It is obvious that Clouds seems more active, happier and a lot chirpier on sunny days. Luckily for him, where we live the sun rules, with cloudy days remaining rare exceptions

We place his cage by a window in the morning and he stays sleepy until direct sunlight enters his space, then all hell breaks lose. He has a 'good morning sun' song and a 'good night all' one. Absolutely delightful.

I guess where they come from (just across the pond from us) the sun plays a major role too so no wonder it affects them so much. No mystery either than sun-deprived budgies are so prone to vitamin D deficiencies...

That's quite funny! It's very interesting to see how the weather can affect people and budgies alike
