Hi experts,

Need you help, again, with this new lovely.

You estimation of:
1. Age
2. Sex
3. Signs of being healthy

Note: On each feet, there is one finger (same finger order) with no nail grown.

Thanks.

PS: I'm giving name Kirck for now, hoping he's a boy

Both young budgies are gorgeous little girls! Looks like they've had some rough times.
Since they're both recessive pied, they could be any age, since the cere always stays immature and they don't have many head bars, but they don't look older than 1 year.

Although they clearly have been through a lot in life, they don't seem sick or ailing, and I'm sure with some good care they would be just fine

Thanks StarlingWings

Actually, this is one budgie, the same one from different angles

Yes, the pet shop has like hundreds of them in the same cage, not big one.

So it's not less than 6 months? The tail feather doesn't tell/suggest that?

I brought her? today since a few hours. Already she is coming on finger and eat seed out of my fingers. Does this suggest a promising budgie that will bond just well? Or sickness?

Also, I let out of cage, and it flow a bit and then fell down (looks like it got tired).

Thanks

Goodness, I could have sworn one picture was a white and blue budgie and the other a yellow and green budgie! Oops

Now that I know that both are the same budgie, I can actually see some baby bars still, which does indeed suggest that she is less than 6 months. Tail feather missing could indicate moult, cagemate abuses, or something similar.
The behavior you've indicated doesn't mean she's sick, that's a very good sign that she's responding so well.

However, I would be careful with interacting with her at least for a few days. She may act submissive because she's afraid.

You can let her out of her cage more in a few days to a week, and now just make sure she's reassured and talk to her.
The fact that she's warmed up so quickly does mean she will probably very easy to tame.

She's gorgeous! Are you going to keep her name as Kirck?

Maybe this picture could have been taken with different photo filters, which may alter the color a bit?

Tyler.

Tyler has a good point, do you know if the pictures were taken in natural light with no flash?

I'm no expert. Look's like a Hen to me. Overall feather condition makes me wonder if she is just finishing her first moult which would put her in the 12 - 15 week old range. Eye's look clear, and give an overall appearance of an alert bird, if the dropping's look normal, I would be inclined to say she is healthy but you never know with bird's coming from a crowded pet store condition. Get her going on some ACV in her water, and introduction of nutritious food's ...

Can't say on the toenail situation, is it grown over and healthy looking where the nail would normally be ??

What a beautiful little girl bird! She looks like a little lemon drop. I'd say by the looks of her, that she is healthy. And judging by her behavior as you mentioned, she sounds alert and rambunctious enough. I love hens <3 Sweet little things.
