Default Do Bugies snore?

My son wanted me to ask this question. I work nights so he is the one who puts them to bed. After they are covered for the night, they both go to opposite sides of the cage. Later on in the middle of the night he will hear one bird go cocococo very softly, then the other bird on the other side will do the same thing.
Thank you, lamba

I wouldn't call it "snoring" actually.
Budgies do make little sounds occasionally when they sleep.

My little Skipper talks and when he takes his afternoon nap, he always talks in his sleep -- everything he says is quite clear and it's quite funny.

Mallorn only mumbles while she naps, but some do it at night, too! How cute

Can't think of anything cuter than a sleep talking budgie! Mine don't talk at least not yet, i'm hoping at least one will say at least one thing, so they make no noise when they sleep.

Yes mine make some funny sounds when asleep, as well as sleep talking. It is hilarious sometimes you would swear he is talking to somebody. But I have a sneaky peak and his head is tucked on his back and eyes are closed fast.

That's so cute. I don't know what it is, but there's something just adorable about sleep-talking budgies.

It is very endearing, isn't it? I have always assumed the little mumbles and mutterings are because they are dreaming. Funny how they don't all do it though!

Actually, my Sammy snores, but because I taught him (or rather, Disco the Parakeet helped me teach him).

He also talks in his sleep.

My dog Watson also barks in his sleep! But since his mouth is closed, it sounds a little different. I can tell he's dreaming because he barks the same way as when he's playing with me. So cute!
