It might bother them more than watching your brother play video games.
You could always cover them up at night, or twist brother's arm to keep the volume down.

My cage is in the 'dining' area of the kitchen, with a rather open floor plan to the living room and we keep rather irregular hours. The birds have their own rhythm, and seldom get very active during the night. I also keep a light on for them.

But in reality, do try if you like the birds better in another room. After all, they are curious little minds, and need stimulation for their little brains.

If I were you I would most probably keep them in your room during the night then take them out in the mornings to another area where they will be involved in the every day action of the house. Having them in your room means you will hear if anything does cause them distress or if visitors turn up they are still happily tucked up in their usual bedroom.

I move Zippi's cage every night. Around 8-30pm I put her to bed in the spare room, cover her cage & close the door. In our house it's probably the most draught proof room. In the morning I bring her out around 8am. It has never seemed to bother her.
