So, an update on Twitter: for the last four days, she has refused to eat any millet unless I'm able to get it into her face. Otherwise, she flies away if I get anywhere near her. I hadn't spent any time with her before Saturday. Does that affect the current situation? Also, the person who I got both Stormy and Twitter from told me that she's willing to give me another bird to replace Stormy as soon as I said that he had passed. Also, I appreciate your thoughts on what might have killed Stormy. I have told everyone that you and I believe that he had a stroke or other heart problem. So, what should I do about Twitter? Why is she behaving this way?
Hi Tyler is Twitter sleeping a lot or puffed up? Is she eating normally otherwise? What are her droppings like?
I would have her checked out by an avian vet to be on the safe side in case she may have picked something up.
Spend the time helping her learn to trust you and remember every time you "force" her to do something -- eat or whatever, then you are taking several steps backward in the bonding process.
