WOW, he is SO pretty! Perhaps the lighting in your room is showing you two different shades? But based by that cere color....I'd say you have a young budgie. So it's totally normal that you are seeing some blue creep in. As he matures this will continue to get darker until its all blue and no purplish pink is left. Oh, and don't be alarmed when you notice his eye color beginning to change. As they mature they sort of get a greyish silver ring around their pupils rather than the all black that baby budgies show.

He's beautiful--since almost all his markings are gone but there still are some, there is a definite pied gene in him. He looks like a heavily marked recessive pied, making his cere will stay pinkish his whole life and his eyes won't have an iris ring.

I don't even start to understand mutations but this is a very beautiful budgie for sure. Welcome to the forum too
