What lovely looking budgies! And in the last few pics, a very contented domestic scene! You must be very happy with your birds!

Very pretty little clutch... Since pieds are my soft spot, I love your pieds. The momma looks a bit like my Ivy.

Hi there, just popped over form your other thread. The Mum does look like a combination pied, (a heavily pieded dominant pied but with no iris rings?). The little girl looks to be a Dominant Pied rather than a combination though. They usually have very little in the way of markings and body colour. The babies with the head spot are likely split for Recessive Pied. If you get any Recessive Pieds from this pair then you will know the Dad is split for it. You only need each parent to have one copy of the gene to produce a Rec Pied chick (so two normals split for Rec Pied can produce more pieds).

They look like a lovely family. It was bad luck to not get any Spangles this time, maybe next you'll get lots!
