Default New budgie climbing all over me?

So I just got a new budgie a few days ago, and I already had one for almost a month and it's training very well. But my new budgie hasn't even had time to get used to me and when I bring out the millet spray it goes crazy and walks straight on my hand and everything. Do you think it feels safe to be on my hand because my other budgie does too? I'm not sure , maybe they just love the millet spray, this new bird goes craaaazy for it! Tries the best it can to reach over and grab some. Any explanations?

Having another budgie to show your new one that you are a good and safe experience will definitely help. Are they both in the same cage together? Is new budgie getting enough food from the cage , is the other budgie stopping the new budgie from eating just make sure they are both eating .

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Sounds like you have a very fearless little budgie! That's adorable that he already wants to climb all over you. Agreed with Cathy that having an already tame budgie helps, but I must ask: Did you quarantine the new guy? It's important to keep the new bird apart from the other for 4-5 weeks to prevent spread of infectious illnesses.

Looks like you'll have a fun time taming this little one!
What's his name? Hope to see pictures of the new little one and your current budgie soon! Feel free to ask about anything you're wondering about, we're glad to help

It sounds as though your two budgies are already housed together so please keep a close eye on them for any signs of illness since quarantine wasn't followed.
Are the two of them bonding well at this time?
Are they both males?
What have you named them?

Sure hope to see some pictures soon!
