Thumbs up Cork hang up

I still had some cork left and wanted to do something for Mila to chew up. So I took some of the already destroyed willow sticks from the ground and knotted them on the end of a rope.

I sew up the cork to a few smaller pieces.

Drilled some holes in them, put them on the rope and done!

cut off the leftover rope and hung it up!

At first they were sceptic, like they are of anything new.

But after Mila watched Ludwig give it a nibble.

She just looked at him and he quickly moved out the way (she's in total control OF EVERYTHING)

Time to destroy this!

*By now the round cork thing behind them in the corner is taken off and the new one put there.

Love the new toy! Looks like it will be a hit for sure

It's so cool that you can just get pieces of cork like that!

I actually had to order it online! (I read that they love to chew and destroy it and I wanted to see if they really do)

All the stores around here said they can't order any cork material for some reason. I guess because it goes from nature directly to sale and it might be "alive".
After I got the "stump" I made sure to put it in the ofen for a while and I am keeping te leftover stump in the basement.

So far I tried a swing = the round thing which I hung up, but aside from having chewed a "hole" in the circle they don't seem interested. (might cut that one up as well sometime)
And a sitting opportunity which you can see on the side of the 2nd last pic, Ludwig is sitting on it, for that I just cut a piece off and tied it to the side of the cage :3

I love the curious yet suspicious expression on Ludwig's (the blue and white one?) face in the second to last photo. What a great moment to capture on camera
