Default boy or girl

Hi everyone. We've just bought this young budgie. We tried to follow the guide on this forum and choose a boy. What do you think ? Is it a boy.

Welcome to TB! It looks like a boy... Do you have a close-up of his face? I have the same swing,by the way. But I had to shorten the cotton strings because my Kalle was chewing on them.

great. thank you. and TalkBudgies guide (Telling the Gender of Young Budgies ) was very useful. They had lots of budgies with purple cere with whitish circles around nostrils and the shop assistant was saying they were boys. Luckily I had printed photos of young male and females so we could compare. We choose this one because he looked very calm and not afraid of people as well.

Is is possible to say how old he is ? shop assistant said around 12 weeks.....

He looks very young,so I think about 12 weeks might be correct. What's his name?
