Default Give me your best toy recommendations!

I mailed in my deposit for a little English budgie (who will be coming home with me in September) a few days ago, and I'm starting to think about stocking up for my birdie's arrival!

Obviously, I plan on getting a variety of toys: swings, preening toys, shreddable toys, etc, but I also remember from my own birds (years ago now!) that some toys were really stand out favorites that got tons of play, while others were kind of ignored. What are your birds absolutely favorite toys? And, if at all possible, can you share a link or let me know where you got them? Thanks so much!

I dunno where you are based but i'm sure you can get ones like this anywhere if not the same one

Weav r maize small shredding toy for budgies and small birds, budgie toy | eBay

My two absolutely love this, they like preening it and shredding the maize.

Also there is a thread on the forum where they review toys that'll be a good place to have a read of

You probably aren't going to like this answer but Tico's favorite toy is my hair. Seriously if I let him he would sit all day on my shoulder preening and hiding in my hair. His only other can't live without favorite is just a basic rope perch. He likes soft perches. I wrapped his play gym's wooden swing in Coflex and now he likes perching on that also.

My little girl loves bells--anything that makes noise when she hits it!
This one is good because its durable and stands up to a lot of beak abuse This is the closest I found to the one she has, but hers is the same brand:

She also likes these shreddable kabobs.

And her edible perch is another favorite activity, she's had it for like 2 years and has barely made a dent

Daes pretty much likes anything that makes noise! Especially bells, actually. Though she tends to ignore the rest of the toy and try to get to the noisy part

Daes is in love with this one! The plastic rings make a lot of noise! Haha
