Default Adopted vs. Petstore

So a few days ago I got a new pair, Stormy and Rain, from a petstore. However, Rain was up for adoption through the store, not a petstore bird. When I first brought them home, Rain seemed more comfortable with me walking around the cage and such in the beginning, while Stormy would freak and fly around the cage. This made sense to me considering Rain had had a previous owner. However, now after a few days, they have switched! Now Stormy seems more comfortable with me walking around the cage and putting my hand in and stuff. Anyone have any ideas for why this might be? Just thought it might make for an interesting discussion .

Same thing with me. Although I've never really adopted a budgie, I got my fourth one yesterday from a Petco and she/he has been sitting on my arm like it's been a year. Pet store budgies seem to get along faster probably because they're always around people, seeing that they aren't being eaten.

That's incredible! I have never been able to tame a budgie (pet store or adopted- and I've has several of both for many years), so I don't know if I just have bad luck or patience or what! Lol
