Default Can they eat this?

I put some budgie bird seed in a pot and the plant started to grow. I thought it was millet but it looks different, it has big leaves and small yellow flowers. Anyways the plants started to make seeds and I was wondering if you have seen this plant and if its ok for the budgies to eat.

Did you plant/seed these sprouts indoors completely, or was the pot/soil outdoors for a period of time within the last year?

Hmm, I have sprouted many seeds over the years but the sprout you posted does not look familiar to me personally. That is why I asked with regards to the pot/soil being in another location as it is so easy to get a random seed/sprout.

However, there are so many different seed varieties that it is almost impossible to know them all and they can vary greatly depending on the mix. Do you happen to know what is in your specific mix?

Hopefully someone will come along that is familiar with the specific seed/sprouts you have as some of them do not look familiar to me personally

I'm not exactly sure - stay away if you're not sure. However, another person on this site may know.

Looks like a brassica of some sort, is there Rapeseed in your seed mix?

I can't tell, the first picture won't show.

But if in doubt, Charlie out.
