Default Baby's Gender?

Hi Guys,
You've given me great support before so here's the story.

My friend has given me this baby, as she's suddenly moving overseas (honestly, some people *cue eye roll*) so I've named (her?) Baby as she's only about eight weeks old. Yes she's in quarantine Yes she's had BOTH wings clipped Poor little thing is extremely cuddly.

Apparently parents are Albino and Lutino, I've never seen them so couldn't tell you.

Any help on the mutation would be great, I think she's either a mauve or a violet grey, opaline, maybe spangle? but I really want to know if I'm right on the gender.

Mind the wetness, she decided to swim in the water dish :/

Well that lovely baby is either a Grey or Mauve Opaline Spangle. I'm leaning towards it being a boy. Two Ino parents can only produce Ino offspring so the parents can't have been what you were told...

Here are some much better pics, taken with my camera, not my phone. I'm was crossing my fingers for girl but I'm starting to see a serious resemblance between Baby and a Younger Yoshi's cere, although its definitely not as dark a purple as either of my boy's.

Yes, a beautiful little boy! He's stunning, wow. I agree with Toni that he is either Grey Violet or Mauve, but I'm leaning towards Mauve Opaline Spangle. What a stunner! Are you keeping his name?

Thanks for that, you guys are awesome....the rings around the nostrils stumped me, I've never had one this young before but there's a bit of purple-blue coming through under the white and the rest is that translucent pinky colour....I was completely confused.

I'm leaning more to the Mauve side of colouring as grey is grey and in real life, Baby is so much more blue than any grey I've seen.

Yeah I'll keep his name, he's still the baby of them all

Sorry to cloud the water, but look's like a girl to me....

On a positive note though, I have been wrong before....

Jeez Randy! Kill me why don't ya! I can wait till he/she matures a bit more but Baby is really looking more like a boy every time I look at him/her.

Doesn't matter to me, he/she is now my super fave after losing Yoshi last night, my youngest one yet and is super calm, hardly bites but squawks like a maniac!

I agree with Randy, in all of the pics I'm seeing a girl. Since she is so young, with time it will certainly be easier to tell and all doubts will fade.
I'm sticking with beautiful budgie girl.

Oh man!! Should start bets on what Baby ends up being

He/she is looking a bit more pink today but I keep comparing her with my 4mth old boy Hero and his sister Lady.
Baby is totally in between.
I warned you all he/she was a difficult one :/

Only time will tell I guess
