Default Can someone help with sex/age?

Hi everyone,

Can you help me determine the sex (and possibly age) of this budgie? The cere looks quite ambiguous. Definitely no tan colour. In one of the photos, it looks quite blue on top, but it doesn't seem that blue in real life. The cere colour seems to change quite a bit depending on the lighting in the room.

I decided to take a chance with an odd-numbered flock because one of my existing budgies doesn't have any interest in the others whatsoever. With 5, I'm hoping the dynamic will be like that of an even-numbered flock, as there seems to be a permanently solitary extra who sits alone.

Thanks!

EDIT: added a 4th photo

In the first 2 photos I'm seeing an overall purplish cere, while in the 3rd photo the cere appears to be more bluish. Still I'm not seeing any hint of white, so my guess is you have a boy there.
I'd say he is about 3 and a half months old, it's clear he has moulted out a few of his baby bars but he still has most of them.

Your budgies are very young and while growing up and maturing they could naturally buddy up and no one would be the odd budgie out. But In the end it is your choice to add more.

I agree with Aluz (there should be a "Like" button, a "Share" button, and an "I agree with Aluz" button)
What a gorgeous little boy, and about three months as mentioned. Have you thought of a name yet?

I've been holding off on finalizing a name until I got feedback about the sex, but perhaps Pepper, Casper, or Dash. I'll keep you posted! Thanks again!

I like "Dash" that's cute! Another one I like is "Zipper"
Definitely looks like a boy to me, especially in the third photo. Either way a very pretty little budgie!
