Default Abandoned eggs!

My hen laid two fertilised eggs about a week ago.. At starting period she used to incubate them well but from the past 2-3 days she abandoned them like that..
1) now what to do with that hen or rather those eggs?
2) will the feotus still alive inside the shell?

Plz help!!

Hello, is this your hen's first clutch she has laid?
If the eggs have been abandoned for a full two days then the embryo will of not continued to grow. Has she been simply coming in and out of the nest or is she out all the time? Where is the cock? Is he also in the nest or is he out all the time. when she is out what is she doing , just sitting around and eating as normal?

Firstly.. Thanks for the response P.B. :-)
and as you asked, cock is in that very cage but he seems irresposnsible regarding those eggs...He just flirts with the hen mostly... And she keeps herself out of the nest all time without bothering about the eggs as if they belong to alien :-P and loiter around the cage eating, playing and screaming which made me think likewise as this is not her first or the second clutch.. She has been to this phase 7-8 times and is mum of four budgies.. :-)
but this time its awkward!

Hi and to Talk Budgies!

As the eggs have been abandoned for that length of time, it would be my recommendation for you to
Discard the Eggs
Remove the Nesting Box
Rearrange the cage
and
Limit Daylight Hours
to throw the hen out of breeding condition.

Hello and welcome to the forums
I'm glad you asked and Deb and Cathy have given good advice. Let us know how it goes! She may not have been in the "mood" to have a clutch, and it sounds like she's been successful before, but I guess now wasn't the time.

If you have any other questions, please do ask as we'd love to help! And we'd love to see pictures of your pair, as well.
It's great to have you with us, hope to see you around!
