Default What Colors are my Budgies?

Okay, I'm new to this and I could use the help.

Here is my one year old cock, Hermes.

I believe (based on research) that he is a single factor yellowface 2, or a single factor goldenface. Of course, I could have no idea what I'm talking about. What do you think? And he has a "thumbprint" on the back of his head, as well as some white/yellow patches under his wings and tail- does that mean he has some pied?

Here are some of his baby pictures. They may help.

And here is my new budgie, Izzy. She's a hen, right? Her cere is white with pastel blue at the edges. Some people tell me that any blue on the cere means it’s a male, but I thought females only had tan/brown in breeding condition? And any guess on her age? Okay, about her color. Again, completely based on the internet, I believe she is a grey recessive pied. My question is: Is she a cinnamon? I just don't know.

Thanks for the help!
P.S. I used Photobucket for the pictures- let me know if they actually came up

If not, here is the link to that album... https://s1065.photobucket.com/user/Re...?sort=3&page=1

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Unfortunately, your pictures didn't show up. Make sure you're posting the "direct" link from Photobucket, click the "Image" icon at the top bar when posting, paste the link, and then it should show up.

From what you're describing, Izzy does sound like a hen. Any blue on the cere actually does not mean it's a male, the only way that blue indicates male is if the whole cere is dark blue. Pastel blue and white like you're seeing always indicates female. Young male budgies always have light pink/purple ceres. Females do have brown ceres when in condition, which may turn back multiple times a year

Once you pull up the pictures, we'd love to help you on mutations! Don't worry, it takes a few tries to get the hang of posting

It's great to have you with us on the forums, and I hope to see lots of your pair around here
Feel free to ask about anything else you're unsure of, we'd love to help!

EDIT: Just saw the link you posted Hermes is a fullbody greywing goldenface cobalt budgie, (I'm in love! ) and Izzy is a Cinnamon Opaline Grey Recessive pied, so you're right And yes, she is a hen.
Your pair is stunning! I love them
