Default Loki :) Boy or girl?

Hi, I got Loki two months ago and the girl at the pet shop said she was a she but I did some research and now not too sure. Her cere seems to be peeling off and I thought maybe this had something to do with breeding? I'm a new budgie owner so a bit unsure.

Anyone have any ideas about Loki's breed, age and gender?

In regards to behaviour, she's very chirpy and chatty and likes to talk to other birds outside too. A bit nippy but I was told she'd grow out of it.

I've attached a photo, it's the best I have. For more info, her cere started off as a darkish brown but is peeling a little, and it's pink underneath. She is almost completely yellow with pale green patches. No iris, eyes seem completely black. White patches on cheeks. Fluffy with very faint lines on her head and has pale blue under her wings.

Thanks for any info

If it turns completely solid pink, then it is most likely a male. If it's whitish with light pink, it is a female.

Not the best picture, but looks female to me. If it's dark brown, she's definitely a female in breeding condition.

Welcome to the forums!
Your budgie is without shadow of a doubt a really beautiful female.
She is currently on breeding condition (dark brown and crusty looking cere) and since you say she is currently peeling off, then she is in the process of coming out of breeding condition and the cere will progressively revert to the creamy white colour and overall smoother looking appearance.

What a beautiful little girl! Loki is stunning

If by breed, you mean mutation, she is definitely combination pied, which means she has both recessive and dominant pied genes. Because of the recessive pied in her, she will never have irises in her eyes.
So I would say she is combination pied, sky blue, either YF or GF and I'm guessing she's spangle opaline but I really can't tell because I can't see the wings. If you post clear pictures taken in natural light with no flash in the "Mutation and Genetics" section, we'd be happy to help you

She really is gorgeous, what a unique mutation!
