Default Rehoming Tofu & Miku - Iowa or nearby

I'm looking for a new home for my two budgies, Miku and Tofu. In March 2016, I'll be moving overseas for the Army, and unfortunately, birds are not welcome abroad.

The birds are both females, Tofu is 8 years old and Miku is 2 years. They get along great with each other, and Tofu LOVES people and will sit on your shoulder. She also has a little "cell phone" toy that she uses to communicate (it makes laughing noises, says Hello and I Love You). Miku's passions are taking baths and flying around the house exploring, and she's working on warming up to people.

They have one small cage for transportation, but they live in a large 62" x 32" x 21" HQ Flight Cage. The cage is large enough to accommodate another bird or two, I believe. They also have lots of toys and accessories. They eat Dr. Harvey's Parakeet food and fresh cilantro, spinach, parsley and/or kale daily.

I'm starting the search for a new home early, because I want to be picky about where they go. They are really cool birds and I won't give them to just anyone! I'm willing to drive them to their new home, if I find an interested party within a few hundred miles of Iowa. Please contact me for more info.

I'm glad you've started early in your search for a safe and loving forever home for your little ones and hope someone on the forum will be able to help.
