Default Fomic sheet and wool

Hey guys!
I have been making and knitting a lot of things these days and my budgies show a lot of interest in my work so I wanted to confirm if I can use wool or fomic sheets for their toys as they jump at the sight of it. I have looked all around the internet but cant find anything. So plz tell me what you know about it.

I'm assuming "fomic sheets" are a type of foam core board or paper?

I would not use foam for any budgie toys.

White paper is fine to use for budgie toys because it is bio-degradable.

It's best not to use paper that is colored with some dyes or inks.
Vegetable based dyes like what are used on wooden toys made for budgies is fine.

Budgies are not able to digest cotton, wool, or hair, all of which can cause crop impaction.

Take a look at this link:

Thanks so much for the list. It helped a lot. And I guess that if I am not sure of the sheet, I will keep it away from the cage. Better safe than sorry.
As for the fomic sheet, it is a thin coloured sheet of foam like stuff used for making decorations but I guess it is gonna stay away from the cage

I'm glad you've made the decision not to use the foam-like sheets near the cage. Ingesting that type of material would not be a good thing for your budgies.
