Default budgie unable to fly

hi people. I need some advice concerning one of my budgies.
I have been keeping budgies for 2 yrs now and have around 60. over the course of the last 6months one of my budgies has lost the ability to fly. my birds live in a mixed aviary with 6 kaks. she could fly and I thought because I had recently purchased her and that she must have previously been kept in a cage. my aviary is approx. 30ft x15 x 8. (thinking she couldn't manage the size). anyway I have noticed that her flight feathers look like she isn't preening them and this is why she cant fly. I have tried giving her a bath to try and get her to preen, to no avail. any suggestion on what I can do to get her to preen?
am I missing something. if pic is needed I will post some tomorrow.
thanx in advance.
added some pics further down this thread and here is another link for the vid of flightless hen View My Video

Welcome to talk budgies. The more info you can give, the better chance someone may have an idea. Does she stretch them out...does she flap/exercise them in place...does she hold them tight into her wing pocket's...have you snatched her up and performed a visual exam of her wings in and out...any other behavior changes in her ? Hopefully some of our more eperienced members can advise you...

just a quick pan of my aviary. enjoy
doing some modifications at the moment. adding 2 flights and splitting internal into 3 separate area's. each area will have access to its own flight. footprint will add a further 80 square ft.

Thankyou for sharing, was that a lamb or goat I can hear in the background? Would love to see some close ups of your birds when you can

I'd love to hear more about your aviary.
If you are ever inclined to share more regarding it, you can start a thread in the "Budgie Housing" section of the forum.

I'm full of questions purley out of curiosity.
For example:
Was the building built as an aviary or converted?
Does it have it's own heating system and cooling source?
Do you have running water in the building or do you bring it in from another location?
How long have you had birds?
Do you have a breeding setup of individual cages for breeding pairs?
