Hoping someone can clarify for me whether fresh African mahogany branches can be used for perches and the leaves for the budgies to chew? I have not been able to find any where to say that they can or cannot be used.
I've done several different searches and can not locate Mahogany on the lists of Safe or Toxic woods either.
I did find a couple of references where people indicated they use Mahogany branches for their budgies.
However, unless you get a definitive answer I personally would not risk it.
There are plenty of other safe woods you can choose from.
