Default Rough Age of my Budgie?

I looked at one of the articles on CLBA and I have to be honest, I wasn't sure still about Jimmy's age.

Can anyone give me a rough idea?

The article mentions baby bars and iris rings, but does indicate that a recessive pied like Jimmy don't always have iris rings as an adult.

Under 4 months of age. At around 4 months the feathers by the cere begin to go clear.

Your Jimmy looks older to me. He's got all his "big boy" throat spots, budgies usually get them all by the time they are about 6 - 7 months old on their second moult.
Both my recessive pied girls have kept their baby barring on the forehead and one of them is now over 2 years old and the other is close to reaching adulthood. Despite the moults, they always grow back their baby barring.
Your Jimmy also appears to have some flecking on his forehead, most likely due to him being opaline.
About the eyes, recessive pieds do not develop the iris rings so they always keep their baby black eyes.

It's difficult to tell the colour on the cere due to the damage done by the mites, hopefully soon the area will clear up and we will be able to see the cere's true colours.
My guess for your Jimmy is 6 months old at the very least.

Thanks for the estimate.

I'm mostly curious as there's no need for his age really but it's nice to have a rough idea (I need to know how long until I throw him a birthday party, right? ).

He's been starting to rub his face when he comes out of his cage now and sits on his favourite perching spot, so I'm hoping that eventually it will start to clear up a little. I have no idea how long it'll take for him to clear himself up after the mites have gone.
I've had the advice to put oil on the damages area but as he's not tame, I don't want to have to catch him and treat him for that, but if when he's due his next treatment of medicine there's not much improvement, I will do it at the same time as he's mite treatment to try and help a little. I take pictures of everyday, so eventually I'll be able to see a difference as he starts to heal.

I agree with Aluz's age estimate completely I hope his mites get cleared up soon!
