While he no longer runs scared of the hand I can see now he is the type of personality that is more then happy to have me give him fresh food and water but as far as his Highness is concerned "keep the finger away" lol
He is happy and plays and chirps in his cage watching Merlin learn to step up and watching as Echo is on my shoulder, but in his little birdy head he is king of the roost and will not allow the sullying of his royal feathers by a human hand lol
I am ok with that as I have had a tame and one non tame budgie before and as long as they are happy that is all I care about, besides you never know, if his new friend decides to come out and play he just might decide it is not beneath his Highness to indulge the human with a Royal claw now and then
I have a spare cage I call my quarantine/off to the vets cage so I do see a new ball of fluffy feathers coming home soon
Oh and before someone mentions anything, no he will not be named Tucker ROFL
I'll be watching for an update with pictures of the new little fellow once you have him home and all settled in.
Deb, and here I was going uh oh she will know I got another bird
I have already picked him up and he is in the spare cage, 2 months old and OMG his colours!!! He is a pied mixed with a "normal blue budgie" I just love the mutation, he was the most beautiful of the bunch. No name yet but I am thinking of either Skye or Skootz heheh
Sorry for the blurry pics with the flash, I will see if I can get a natural pic of him tomorrow with no flash once he is settled in a bit, he is on the 3rd floor of the house but yet him and Buddy can hear each other and call each other, kinda hurts me in a way cause Buddy is looking all around wondering where that budgie sound is coming from.
