Default Are Air Filters/Purifiers safe for budgies?

I'm thinking of getting a Honeywell HFD-010 air purifier to help with my allergies. I hear they produce a tiny bit of ozone..?

Are these safe to use when you have a budgie? I'm trying to make sure it won't cause my bird any respiratory issues.

You are best off purchasing an ion-free air purifier that does not produce ozone. https://ezinearticles.com/?Air-Purifi...ave&id=6798123

Honeywell sells HEPA air-purifiers that do not produce ozone...

I have the Honeywell 50250 air purifier in my bedroom since I share the room with 2 budgies, 3 lovebirds and a sheltie
I think it’s a great product.
It is a bit noisy and I sometimes have to turn it off to hear the TV if all the birds are chirping at that time as well.

Alright, thank you for your response! .

The filter you suggested looks great but is a bit out of my price range. Since I am just looking to get a small one for my bedroom, I'll see if there are any good small HEPA filters.

Hi again!

I was looking at the "Bionaire 99.99 Percent True Hepa Mini Tower Air Purifier" and noticed it comes with an optional ionizer. Do you think it would be alright to use as long as I do not use the ionizer?
