New baby budgies - a boy and girl
I am looking to rescue two unwanted baby budgies. One is male and one is female and they are only 10 weeks old.
Am I ok to keep them together or will I run into problems? They are together and very much attached.
I have only had single budgies in the past and want to make sure I get this right.
Any advice would be appreciated
Thank you xx
Yes, you absolutely can adopt the male and female babies and house them together.
You'll simply want to be sure you do not provide anything in the cage that could potentially be used as a nest.

I agree with Deb :)
It's wonderful you're able to rescue them ;) I can't wait to see them
Thank you both so much for your replies. I could have them as soon as tomorrow so shall post photos. Im going to call them Arlo and Sparky ? x
Hi Kay...wonderful that you are taking them in. I keep two males and females together, and following the advice in that link Deborah posted, I have never had breeding activity/egg's. Looking forward to meeting Arlo and Sparky...:)
