Default Female Vs Male during feeding (Its a showdown, help!)

Hi Everyone, would like to ask how do any of you deal with a pair of budgies (male & Female) who always do not get along well during feeding...

Well, both my budgies would always fight over who to eat first... The fight doesn't end with a blood bath but just that one of them would be super hungry while the other one feeds...

So is it alright to have a "His Bowl" & "Her Bowl" ?

Not only is it all right, but it's also a matter of fairness that each budgie should have his and her own food container.
The more budgies are sharing the cage, the more feeders we must place.
The same goes for water containers. One food container to each budgie and one water container per two budgies in order to avoid potential fighting.

Yes definitely two feed dishes, if it continues perhaps your hen is a very territorial bird. The bigger the cage the better, have two of everything!

Thanks everyone... Ok im going to place 2 food bowls now... Should i put it side by side of one another or should i just keep them apart?

Its only with food that both fight, they both are agreeable with sharing water.... Ironically is my male budgie that is really the territorial towards food... My Hen, she is the sweetest and would wait for him to finish... &i was beginning to worry if she gets enough... Since my male eats alot...

If possible, keep the food dishes apart when it comes to the distance between them.
You can however place them both on the same level on the cage's bars.

Hi Aluz, thanks for the tip... I have placed them on the same level & place their drink bowl in between since they are mutual over water ... is that alright?

(Attached is the photo of how the food bowl & drinking water looks like now)
