Default Getting a New Cage!!

Im getting a new cage for my two budgies, I was wondering how many budgies this cage can hold (incase I want to increase my flock in the future) and also a small list of other birds that can live in harmony with budgies, and that my cage size will allow. Thank you and here is a picture of the cage the W= 32 Depth= 19 and L= 64 (in inches)

What a nice cage that is. Here is cage size recommendations....

As far as housing other species with budgies, I will have to let other's advise you on that, never tried it, and most of what I've heard doesn't recommend it...

My understanding is that you should never mix 2 species unless you have a large aviary. While that cage is large and nice it is still just a flight cage and not an aviary. Birds have been known to bite toes off other birds and even cause mortal wounds.

I have a cockatiel and a parakeet and the paradigm in the birding world is that these two species love to coexist. Yeaaahhhhh..... not so much in this household. If the keet gets within a foot of the tiel a fight will ensue guaranteed.

You never know if birds are going to get along so in order to be a responsible owner you have to be prepared to offer separate cages and out time if necessary.

The actual interior measurements of the cage itself are going to be closer to 31.5" x 18.5" x 48" which comes to 27,972 cubic inches

I would personally only put 4 budgies in that cage but it could house up to six.

It is not advisable to house different species of birds in the same cage.
