Today when I came home from school, Bubbles was not the same. When I went over to her, she did not climb out of her cage as she would normally to greet me... Then I looked down and saw that her droppings were oddly small... She also is very puffed up all the time (Since I came home), and according to my dad, she hasn't been talking all day.
She wont eat much, only her treat.
I took her out of her spot and she sat on my shoulder for a bit looking out the window. Could she feel a bit sad about something so she doesn't eat??
If not then anyone have any suggestions to what it might be??
Did you just notice the lack of appetite today? Those oddly small droppings suggest your Bubbles hasn't been eating well and that coupled with her decrease of energy and singing and the puffed up appearance may indicate that something is off and Bubbles is sick.
If Bubbles is not moulting and her appetite and activity levels don't improve, then it would be best to have her properly checked by an avian vet, so you will have a better idea of what is going on and for treatment to be prescribed for her.
I hope your Bubbles gets back to her old self soon, good luck with everything!
RIP sweet Tito (Summer 2008 - January 17th 2013).
You are missed and never will be forgotten.
Bubbles is much better now, Still still has small droppings, but she is much more active than before. I gave her a treat and she seemed to enjoy it. After the treat she went to her normal food, but only really has it when offered to her...
