Default So how many budgies do you own?

I have 2 now but really want a violet. I think having 3 is a weird number so I would want 4 not sure if this would be ok with hubbie.
The cage I have now might be ok but would want something bigger. ...oh I hate the budgie itch

This is the cage I have now

Kathy, you do seem to have a nit of budgie fever going on. Be careful, that's how I ended up with 4 budgies, and a tiel too...

As far as caging goes, I need to warn you that the cage you linked has 5/8" bar spacing and budgies should be in cages with no more than 1/2" bar spacing or they may try to squeeze out, and get injured or worse. The dimensions of that cage are also suitable for only two.

Here is a link for suggested housing....

I have 7 currently, I would have 8, but our little Holly passed last April. I'm looking to get another now.

I have 5, 4 in a large cage together (2 males, 2 females) and a male that is on his own currently. I'm hoping to tame him a little and perhaps make it to number 6 in the future.

I had eight, but I had to put one of my males to sleep because of a tumor recently. So now I have seven, five males and two females (unintentionally, I might add! Thought they were males! ) And so I've been thinking of getting another male to even out the count or three more females or ........ Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!!!! Somebody stop me!!!!!!!!!!

I have 3, 2 males and a female. I think it's quite a good number as you can more or less keep an eye on them all at the same time

I have four. Got one from a bird store and he was a great buddy and also talks. Eventually got him a friend. Then I heard about (OK, I was actively seeking...) a budgie that someone didn't want anymore and brought him home, but he was a third wheel. So, I got a fourth, who was quarantined in my office and kept me company, and who now is buddies with the third budgie, in their own flight cage. Of course, now I wish I had a budgie to keep me company in the office again so I have my eye on a little handfed pet-type budgie who's not quite weaned yet, and whom I might have already named in my head... *cough*

I am happy with 1 budgie... I wanted him to bond with me so I could teach him to talk.. Indi talks in two voices mine and my fathers voice.. It is very rare for a budgie to talk if there are more than one bird....Indi is so clever he has the biggest personality.. He thinks he is a human.. When mum and I are asking questions Indi puts the word yes in the right place every time...Indi also talks sentences to lots of them..But we love him so much...

I currently have one budgie, because my other one passed away in the spring. But I should be getting another one soon. I also have a cockatiel, and two budgies plus the cockatiel is the most I can handle for now.

I have my hand raised Budget, my absolute baby boy who is an amazing budgie. He is my constant shadow who interacts with humans easily, he talks, sleeps on my chest or shoulder and is just a pure delight. I also have another two, an English Blue and another Australian Fifo . I also lost Haze this year he was Blue's friend. they three of them do get along but Budget has his own cage and lives in another room although he has the run of the house I might add.
I would dearly love to get A Love Bird, ....
