Default Vacuuming and Budgie

As I get ready to bring a Budgie into my home, I have to wonder what effects vacuuming might have. I have to believe he won't enjoy the noise very much. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and it is quite loud when running the vacuum. Curious if there is anything I can do to make it less stressful.

I've found that my budgies just chirp as I'm vacuuming and just go along with it. They don't seem to be bothered by it.

Usually with budgies, when given the choice of more noise or less I've observed the more noise the better. Steve loves the vacuum although a bit cautious on getting up close to new "attachments".
I wouldn't worry about noise unless you note a problem with your
bird.

As often mentioned on the forum, silence means danger to budgies, so while you don't need a hoover going all the time, noise is good.

I think my Kalle doesn't mind vacuuming. He chirps along with the vacuum cleaner!

My birds seem to love the sound of the vacuum and they hear it everyday.
Each time I bring a new bird home I have been concerned that the noise would scare them but so far it has not.

Budgie shrieks like none other when the vacuum comes on or if I sneeze or cough. It is like he is trying to be louder and most of the time it is followed with mumbles to his toy bird like he is saying, "Crazy People being all loud in my Home... Ugh. Can you BELIEVE them?!" He is such an Attention Fatty!

It's one of my budgies' favourite noise in the whole world! That, and then when the washing machine is on spin!

As others said it will be fine. I regularly take a broom vac and vacuum food and feathers out of their cages and they could care less.
