I happened to see this today, and it made my day, it struck me as the funniest thing!
Mink was hanging onto the side of the cage bars at the back of the cage. Twigs was sitting on a branch several inches from her. Mink decided that she wanted to hop from where she was clinging to the bars onto the branch Twigs was on. Twigs was such a stinker... he pretended to scoot to the side to give her room, but just when she was about to jump, he'd scoot back and not let her on the branch. Then he did it again... stepped a little to the left as if to let her have room, then just as Mink was getting ready to jump to the branch, Twigs would go back a couple steps to the right again.
This cracked me up! I could just imagine Mink "swinging her arms and bending her knees" counting 1,2,3... as she's not quite as adept as Twigs is with jumping and getting around. She's just slower, and she seems heavier, or clumsier.
So finally... After teasing Mink like that about 3 times, Twigs finally let her on the branch. You can guess what happened next! Lots of beaking and bickering
. That Twigs has always been an aggressive little boy. He'd stand up chest to chest to the much larger parrots, like he had his little fists out LOL. It got him in trouble a couple times, but it wouldn't stop him. He was always the aggressor when he was with his male friend too. So the large English girl doesn't scare him one bit!
